Its appropriate only afterall reasonable atempts to ‘remediate the conduct have failed. Ifthe basis is anything other than a singe, very serious incident, ft ‘must be preceded by lesser sanctions as well as ntice adequate to communicate tothe affected faculty ‘member that the faculty member's tenure sates. In rendering is recommendation that Professor Klein's Tenure be involuntarily surrendered, the College ‘of Law Promotion and Tenure Committee followed the polices and procedures, a well as appled the applicable standards identified in the University’s Faculty Handbook. in reaching ts recommendation, the Collegeof aw Promotion and Tenure Committee: 4) Reviewed and considered Administrations evidence and Professor Ken's responsive evidence; 2}, Provided Professor Klein afl an fair opportunity to rebut any evidence presented against her and to defend her rights to retain her tenure: 3) Deliberated wit respect tothe evidence received and reviewed, took vote and reported tothe Dean that tha found and recommended the following 1.
