ICT Clinical Design Criteria

Provide a queue management (patient ow) system in all areas where patients and visitors are expected to wait during their HMC
encounter.

The equipment to be included will be: check-in kiosks with ticket printing capability, call screen displays, room and counter displays.

The system must be capable of bi-directional Cerner integration.

The system should also be capable of integrating with the patient entertainment system, digital signage and car park management
systems.

Typical locations for queue management equipment include: main entrances, registration desks, outpatient clinic waiting areas, clinic
and examination rooms, cashiers, pharmacy dispensing locations, Imaging department, phlebotomy, cafes and restaurants.
