The self-assessment tool is to be administered two times in a year.


It is first administered in the first two weeks of July before the start of the programme to establish baseline data.
It is re-administered a second time in the last two weks of October to measure progress.
The self-assessment tool is administered to the following groups of people:
a) School Head
b) 20% of teachers
c) 20% of students
d) 10 parents

The data gathered from the self-assessment tool will be used to complete the Online Reporting Template.
This online template is completed by schools and co-ordinated by individual PPDs.
Each PPD will send the collated data in the Online Reporting Template to the State Language Officer (ELO)
It is the responsibility of the ELO to send the completed template to ELTC using the following email address - kalminderjit1@gmail.com

Reminder: Baseline data submission date: Last week of July 2016


Progress data submission date: Last week of October 2016
