I am a Junior Undergraduate student pursuing my Dual Degree Course (B.Tech

+ M.Tech in CAD & Automation) at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay,
one of the premier institutes for Engineering and Applied Sciences in
India. I am looking for a challenging opportunity for Summer Internship in
the field of MEMS & Nanotechnology / Finite Element Method for the period
of May-July 2007. This internship is a mandatory part of my curriculum. I

To consolidate my knowledge in my fields of interest I have been

working on CFD Software Tools like CFD-GEOM, CFD-ACE++ for the Institute
Research Project on Design & Fabrication of Microfluidic Devices (studying
two-phase flows through microchannels) here at IIT Bombay. To give you a

I am a 3rd Year undergraduate student doing Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering at the
Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur (MNIT Jaipur, formerly REC Jaipur), one of
the premier technology institutes of India. I am extremely interested in pursuing a summer
internship under your guidance for a period of ten weeks from mid-May 2009 till July 2009.

I have consistently achieved a SGPA (Semester Grade Point Average) in excess of 8, giving me
a CGPA (Cumulative GPA) of 8.8.Studying at a premier institute like MNIT has not only
equipped me with a strong technical base but has also instilled in me a deep interest in Civil
engineering. Further the project oriented labs have given me the opportunity to develop my skills
to work in a team and I believe that I would be an asset to any project I would get to work on. I
am extremely interested in the fields that you are currently into. I have done a project related to
"Morphometric analysis of stream network in GIS environment" under the guidance of Prof.Dr.

that you are currently into. Specifically, I am interested in Geographic information systems and
Engineering Hydrology.
