IV. PROCEDURES
A. Springboard/Motivation (Establishing a purpose Activity 1: Define Me
for the lesson)
 Present a pictures to the learners on different ways on how to
cook a certain food.
 Ask them to define what they can tell about the pictures.
B. Activity (Review of previous lesson/s or Activity 2: Video Presentation
Presenting the new lesson)
 Display a video presentation to the learners on different
Filipino culture on food preparation
 Let learners give attention to the video.

Ask:
 What is the video all about?
 Did you like what you saw on the video?
 Have you experience a cooking a food for yourself or your family?
 What are your feelings upon doing the task?
 Why do we need to know what are the proper way to prepare or
cook a food.

C. Analysis (Presenting examples/instances of the Activity 3: (Dialogue Reading)

 Then, discuss what the comic strip.
Ask:

 What is the comics strip all about?


 Did the food taste good?

 - Take a look at the pictures.

 Give each student a chance to think.
 Write the answers on the chalkboard.

 Learners will answer some mathematical problem on subtracting an
objects using the different utensils in cooking. (Module pp. 132-134)
 Explain 1-2 questions to the learners the steps on subtraction process
by representing an objects.
 Show how to write the number signs in each answer.
