1.0 General
1.1 Scope
Specification for Seamless Copper-Nickel Steel Heat Exchanger and
Condenser Tubes for ASME Code Stamp Heat Exchangers.

1.2 Code
American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME):
Section II Part B, Nonferrous Material Specification, 2007 Edition+2008 ADD

1.3 Material Specification : SB 111M H55 UNS C12200

1.4 End Use : For Heat Exchanger tubes

2.0 Specification & Technical Delivery Condition

2.1 Material furnished under this specification shall conform to the requirements of
ASME Sec II Part B, 2007 Edition.+ 2008 ADD
2.2 Tubes shall be made by the seamless process and shall be cold drawn.
2.3 Each Tubes shall be tested using Eddy Current Testing.
2.4 The tubes shall have chemical composition as per Table 1 of Specification SB 111M.
2.5 The manufacturer or supplier shall furnish a Certified Test Report certifying that the
material was manufactured, sampled, tested, and inspected in accordance with the
Specification, including year date, the Supplementary Requirements (if applicable),
and that the results met the requirements of the Specification and the
Supplementary Requirements (If applicable).
The Certified Test Report shall be dated and clearly identify the organization submitting the
report.
In addition, the Certified test Report shall include the following information and test results

2.5.2 Heat Analysis
2.5.3 Tensile Properties
2.5.4 Flattening Test acceptable
2.5.5 11/19/2009
2.5.6 Flaring Test acceptable
2.5.7 Flange Test acceptable

2.5.8 Hardness Test Values

2.5.10 Other test results to be reported by the product specification
2.6 Material Mill Certificates shall be in accordance with EN-10204 Type 3.1.
The Material shall be origin from Korea.
2.7 The size, quantity & length of the tubes shall be as per PRS: SWI0900061-PRS-01
