"S+C – the high-grade steel specialist,

that offers more than just tubes and fittings"

In addition to our high alloy systems being used in the radiant zones of
process furnaces, it is the substantial added values that make S+C stand
out from its competitive environment. The message is clear: Because we
understand your installations and problems, we can increase your sales
revenue and profits. We achieve this by optimising our products and services,
allowing you to increase production volumes significantly.

• S+C offers advice for the high alloy components in your furnaces
throughout their entire life cycle. From design, through manufacture to
delivery and installation, and then during a lifetime of operation and
maintenance, S+C is your partner, assisting you in reducing the life cycle
costs of our products.

• Our specialists and consultants know – due to their extensive experience

in the petrochemical industry – the precise interaction of material and
process and can recommend the optimum application and design of our
products

• Our process/software specialists analyse your historic operating data with

computer-assisted tools to identify trends and predict areas of improvement.
Intimate knowledge of performance of our products ensures the right
selection when evaluating maintenance and operational considerations

• S+C is happy to provide technical or commercial information on all our

products or to receive you at our locations in Germany, Spain, Brazil,
Czech Republic, Dubai, Malaysia and the USA for this purpose. We will
also train your specialist welders in processing our materials or offer
advise on other associated matters.

• Not only the components for the radiant zones, but also entire convection
boxes are an important part of scope of supplies. For all tubular systems
in your process furnaces, there is one partner – S+C.

"Our products – tailor-made for your

specific requirements"

When it comes to the application of our spun cast products in steam crackers
or reformers, there is practically no situation that we cannot assist you with.
To put it simply: We manufacture tubes, coils, reformer tubes, harps and
manifolds for petrochemical application using the combination of know-how,
quality and reaction speed that is unique to S+C.

S+C offers the full range in spun cast and static cast parts, i.e. tubes, return
bends, elbows, Y-pieces, T-pieces and tetra-fittings all from just one source.

Another advantage of S+C spun cast products is that we can manufacture

entire tube assemblies such as harps and ethylene coils completely in-house.
This benefits our customers because in addition to spun cast products, S+C
also manufactures static cast products. S+C’s experience with both casting
processes ensure that individual components are combined to give optimum
results.

At the same time we constantly review how to further improve our materials
and their performance.

This means we continually develop our successful Centralloy® high-grade

steel family of alloys and realise innovations such as the internal profiles
SCOPE®. This allow a significantly higher rate of heat transfer, thus increasing
the productivity of steam crackers.

In addition there is our SuperBent® technology, a cost reducing alternative

that eliminates fittings such as return bends and elbows, by using a special
extreme tight bending process for centrispun tubes.

Last but not least, S+C’s plants, geographically located worldwide, provide
a range of manufacturing options, making S+C the largest most flexible supplier
and offering you, the customer, unparalleled choice.

The latest achievement in our scope of products is the engineering, fabrication

and delivery of entire convection box units for steam crackers and reformers.
For all tubular systems in your process furnaces, there is one partner – S+C.

"130 years S+C – leading operational excellence

yesterday, today and tomorrow"

When one talks about being traditionally innovating it is a lot more than just
lip service for S+C. 130 years S+C, 60 years of those in the spun casting
sector, which proves our competence and shows that S+C continues to
provide innovative initiative.

The original alloy Märker/Centralloy 4848 (HK-40) was the first approx.
45 years ago. Many other material innovations followed, the latest being
Centralloy® HT E.

Our new SCOPE® tubes are another "high-temperature innovation". Their

unique internal profile substantially increases the rate of heat transfer, whilst
decreasing coking tendency. Both the productivity and the service life of
steam crackers can thus be extended.

The SuperBent® bending technology as a connecting alternative for spun

cast tubes is also new. Manufacture is possible without time-consuming
pattern making and the shaped tubes are much lighter in weight than
conventional fittings. Furthermore, the number of weld joints in coil systems
is reduced, according to design. Welding with conventional spun cast tubes
is simplified through compatibility of chemical analysis and microstructure.

In spite of such successes S+C is not complacent, but will continue to maintain
Market Leadership regarding material and manufacturing know-how.
The Research & Development of S+C acts as guarantor for this, and is rated
as one of the largest and most efficient in the Industry.

"The S+C Global Supply Network –

Always available when you need it"

One reason for our particular performance is our global production

network and associated capacities. Foundry locations in Germany, Spain,
Czech Republic, Brazil and Malaysia make the S+C Group the supplier
with the largest production capacity in the world. This means we always
have capacity available for emergency situations and can supply your
requirements quickly.

But even when it has to be quick, we do not lose sight of the quality
typical for all products "made by S+C". All of our locations are certified
to ISO 9000:2000 and work according to a central quality control system.
Beyond that the S+C Group is a certified supplier in accordance with the
European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED).

The centralised project planning and management of your order is for

S+C part of optimum emergency management. For you this means:
Everything is in one competent hand and you have a personal contact partner
who is totally familiar with all aspects of your order and its status in detail.

Beyond that we offer to research causes of damage and to develop

solutions so that the same problems do not reoccur. The "best" type of
damage is of course that which is anticipated but which does not even
occur. Against this background you can also benefit from our computer-
assisted prognoses for the remaining service life of tubes in operating
furnaces. This gives you the chance to overhaul your plant during a planned
shutdown rather than having to deal with an unplanned plant failure.
