Step by Step Guide

Step 1 – Click on the link: https://www.gems.ae/

Step 2 – Click on the MyLearning tab:

Step 3 – Sign in with your child’s username & password (this is very important
that you use your child’s login details sent to you, not the parent one). If you have
lost your password then please select ‘Forgot Password’.
Step 4 – When you can see your child’s homepage then please click on the Home
Learning symbol:

Step 5 – You will then see a list of ‘Active’ or ‘Overdue’ home learning that has
been set. Click on the most recent learning set and you will be taken to this page:

Date Learning is set.

Resources needed to complete the Learning.

This is where you upload the completed Learning.

Step 6 – Upload any pieces of learning that have been completed by clicking
‘Choose File’ (maximum file upload of 750mb):

Step 7 – Once you have chosen all the files you want to upload, click ‘Upload
selected files’:
Step 8 –You will be taken back to the Home Learning screen where you can see
the successful upload and then select ‘complete’ when finished uploading:

Step 9a – If your child would like to message your class teacher then they must
click the envelope symbol on the home screen. They will receive a message every
time a new piece of learning is set and the symbol will flash.
Step 9b – Select messages.

Step 9c – You can then read (eye), reply to (pencil) or delete (red x) the message
from the class teacher.

Step 10 –
 If you have any technical issues then first try using a different browser
(Google Chrome, Edge, Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox).
 Please remember to log in with your child’s username and password. If you
have lost the password then please reset it.
 If you still have any issues after following the steps above and trying a new
web browser then please contact your class teacher by e-mail.
 If you have issues/queries with the actual content of the home learning,
then please contact your child’s class teacher.
