Dear Friends,

After much deliberation and with the overall goal of assuring everyone’s health and safety, we have decided to make
some important changes to our 2020 GALA ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17. Please note, THE PARTY
WILL CONTINUE. However, we are “tweaking” a few things and bringing it to YOUR HOME! It will be a better and safer
way to party together and support a good cause (see details below). Plus, you don't have to get a babysitter and pants
are optional!

If you have already purchased your Tickets/Corporate Sponsorships, we can’t thank you enough. If not, we REALLY need
you. Ticket prices will remain similar to last year. Early Bird Pricing – with discounted ticket costs – will be available
until Sunday, September 6, 2020. After that, discounted ticket sales will end, and regular pricing goes into effect. We
offer discounts for parties of 4, 6, or 10 (formally “Table Sales”) and are encouraging you to consider hosting a small
gathering in your home with family and friends IF you feel it is safe and precautions are taken. You can purchase your

All ticket sales will end one week prior to the day of the event. We will follow up with each guest (or at-home party
organizer) after ticket purchase and will be in touch again one week before the event to go over the final menu and
other details. PLEASE NOTE: You are free to invite others to your "House Gala" to enjoy the evening's music and
entertainment. Those celebrating with you are encouraged to register on our mobile site to shop and bid on exciting
gala auction items and even make a much-appreciated cash donation if they wish. “Party Boxes” (including food, drink,
etc.), however, will only be available for those who pre-purchased tickets.

As this is our largest fund-raising event of the year, the decision to move away from an in-person event was not an easy
one. We felt it was necessary to ensure everyone’s safety during the pandemic. Your continued support is not only
appreciated: it is vital as it allows us to continue our important mission to help make the lives of Missourians living with

OVERVIEW

THE 2020 INDULGE: A DENIM, DIAMOND & DESIGNER MASK "AT-HOME" GALA: A "More Better" AND "More Safer"
Way to Gala

This year’s Gala will be a hybrid-virtual party, a unique "Zoom/Facebook Live-style" event that will allow people to
attend in their own homes (by themselves or with up to 10 guests) featuring live music room, auctions/raffle (using
mobile bidding), virtual photo booth, guest speakers and more. We are assembling a team of volunteers to create
a "Gala Party Box" which will be delivered to your home in time for the party. Or, if you prefer, we are also creating a
festive, centrally located "Gala in a Box" pickup location (TBD) so people may drop by to pick up their "Gala in a Box" and
perhaps listen to some live entertainment, enjoy a cocktail (socially distanced, of course) and pre-party for a bit before
heading home in plenty of time for our virtual event.
PARTY BOXES WILL INCLUDE:

~ A FABULOUS DINNER

Our AMAZING caterer (Westwood Catering) has created the following "carryout" menu. All dinners come ready to heat
with instructions (please allow 30-60 minutes to prepare).

• Beef Tenderloin with Bordelaise & Horseradish Sauces (cooked and ready for reheating) -- OR -- a beautifully
prepared salmon
• Twice Baked Potatoes with Cheddar Cheese
• Roasted Seasonal Vegetables
• Dinner Rolls with Butter
• French Market Salad ~ cranberries, feta cheese, candied walnuts with balsamic vinaigrette dressing
• Decadent Dessert ~ (TBD but you will LOVE it!)

~ SOME GREAT ADULT BEVERAGES

BeerSauce Shop is making sure we aren't left high and dry. Andrew Tessmer, our Board President & creator of
the BeerSauce Brand, will provide craft beers and/or canned cocktails (2 per person). Guests will have an
opportunity to choose their favorite style of beer or cocktail (details to be provided).

NOTE: We’ll also have a Whiskey and Wine pull. For a $25 donation (through our app or in person at the pickup
spot), you may indicate wine or whiskey and you/ a volunteer will randomly pick a bottle (blindly as each bottle
will be wrapped). For those choosing home delivery, the bottle will be delivered to your home.

~ DECORATIONS AND AT-HOME CRAFTS

Each box will include party decorations and include masks for you (and your guests if you are hosting an event)
to decorate and display in our virtual photo booth!

TIMELINE (subject to change)

2-4 p.m. “GALA IN A BOX” AT-HOME DELIVERY

3-5 p.m. "GALA IN A BOX " PICK-UP (location TDB). An outdoor area will be set up with a few cocktail tables (at least 6
feet apart) where you can hang out and enjoy beer/wine (until 4:30 p.m.), live music, whiskey/wine pull, games and
more.

6:30 p.m. LIVE" VIRTUAL EVENT BEGINS (guest will receive log-in details)

• Welcome Message
• Music/Entertainment “rooms” open
• Virtual Photo Booth Opens (take a picture and share with other attendees - creativity counts)

7 p.m. KEYNOTE SPEAKER

7:05 p.m. FUND-A-NEED/LIVE AUCTION

7:10 p.m. MUSIC/ENTERTAINMENT BEGINS

7:30 p.m. CLOSING REMARKS/RAFFLE WINNERS ANNOUNCED


7:45 p.m. VIRTUAL EVENT ENDS

7:46 p.m.- ? AT-HOME PARTIES CONTINUE UNTIL YOUR HOST KICKS YOU OUT!
