INTRODUCING
WATER SECURE HOMES
REDUCE

Reducing the amount of water used is one of the

first steps in conserving water. And that’s why

we have smart meters that help us measure the

amount of water used and thereby reduce

wastage. We have water-saving fixtures like dual

flush toilets that help us reduce the flow rate by

3 to 6 litres per flush. And we have water

aerators that reduce the overall water flow by

upto 50%.

RECYCLE

Every drop used in Godrej Aqua is recycled with a

rigorous three-step purification process. This process

first begins with the Grey Water Treatment Plant. It

then goes to the Swale where the water is purified

naturally by plants and filter media within a giant

trough specially designed to treat waste water.

After this, the water is sent to the Advanced

Treatment Plant where it goes through Reverse

Osmosis (RO), Ultra Filtration (UF), and UV or

ionisation disinfection processes. And finally, the

water is clean enough to be pumped back into the

home for domestic uses.

purify surface runoff, removing contaminants

RECHARGE

The water that is leftover after the entire process of

recycling takes places goes into recharging and

reactivating borewells that lie dormant. We also help

the recharging process by using 55 kl of waste water

from homes daily for gardening during non-rainy

seasons.
