Dear colleagues and professors,

For me EU-CONEXUS is an opportunity to get involved in the process of making Tehnical

University of Civil Engineering a center of excellence in teaching and research, all this in close
cooperation with our socio‐economic partners.

I like to name our univerity, my second home and through this project we can solve most of the local
problems we have, such as the declining number of students and high rate of school dropout.

Being based on enhancing the employability profile of its students particularly through
interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary studies including non-official education, it is possible to offer a
flexible and original study curriculum that responds to the current needs of employers. Generating a
positive impact on related industries, they support the regional innovation and development and foster
an entrepreneurial mindset of their students.

The main challenge I have identified in carrying out this project is the communication both internally,
of our university, as well as externally with the teaching staff and students of the other universities.

EU-CONEXUS is a complex project that will include common cultural / sports activities,
conferences, projects, workshops, a network of graduates, a system of friends, field trips, round tables,
face-to-face meetings and fairs to develop an identity and a campus affiliation that includes an
increased sense of Europe.

Our university has a huge potential in terms of carrying out this project, through the knowledge
gained through the international recognition programs through the concluded double diploma
agreements and the ConstructFEST project, the most important event in the field of construction,
intended for both local schools, through open days, public conferences, their inclusion in the extra-
university activities of the students and in the lab work, but also in achieving good communication
between students and the economic environment.

I participated actively in all the events organized within the Technical University of Constructions of
Bucharest and I was Project manager on behalf of the Students' Association in Construction within the
Construct Fest project, so I want to get involved in the European project EU-CONEXUS and
participate to all the organized meetings.
