Effective communication is a fundamental aspect of globalization across the world. It is

essential whenever people from various parts of the globe need to reach one another. For

instance, when travelers need to connect from Paris to London, the first step they often take is

establishing a contact. On that note, numerous platforms such as Skype, LinkedIn, YouTube,

Twitter, and Facebook have played an integral role over the years to facilitate this

communication. Notably, they are consistently used both at the workplace and at home on a daily

basis to enhance communication. However, communication has moved to another level in the

business environment rather than just relying on programs such as Skype for international

connections (Ksingh). Understanding the significance of global communication network is

effectual in assisting an international company to become successful in the contemporary world.

The social media is helping companies to save the amount of money that could have

otherwise been spent on laborious market research. According to Canady, senior vice president

at Sykes enterprises, organizations now have a stable and more reliable platform to develop an

easier understanding of business experts, analysts, and potential customers. In this sense, they

assist companies to get a clear picture regarding emerging business trends and act expeditiously

to address their client’s needs (Canady). However, she notes that it is crucial to building a

cohesive brand to establish a strong foundation and an effective social program for successful

business performance. To achieve this, a company has to encourage its staff to recap the mission

Organizations that discourage the recognition of a “global one-size-fits-all approach to social

media” (Canady n.p) stand a better chance of becoming successful compared to those that rely on

such strategy since the needs and preferences of the clients are unique to their culture and

country. Accordingly, it is necessary to implement a more diverse and global communication

approach through the social media platform to enable a company to exploit cultural variations of

a particular region while sticking to the goals and brand guidelines of the business.

Canady asserts that it is obligatory to establish a clear understanding of how prospective

clients interact on the social networking platforms to be able to produce products that match their

cultural expectations. Managing and operating social channels on the global scale stresses the

significance of generating a higher level of engagement and expansion of access to goods and
