Sporlan’s Conversion Nozzle
Kit saves you time and expense
when changing from refriger-
ants 12 or 502 in supermarket
systems to R-22 or the new
refrigerants. The conversion kit
ends the hassle of replacing ex-
isting refrigerant distributors
in a multi-circuited refrigerat-
ed display fixture. Gone is the
irritation of cutting distributor
tubes and soldering them back
together. With the Sporlan Con-
version Nozzle Kit,
you simply discon-
nect the distributor
from the expansion
valve, insert the
properly sized con-
version nozzle, and
reconnect the dis-
tributor. That’s all
there is to it. The
conversion is finished faster
and you have more time to
work on other jobs.
Sporlan has engineered the
conversion nozzles with specific
orifice sizes for maximum
refrigerant distribution and
proper pressure drop. Dual “O”
rings on each nozzle ensure a
tight fit with no leakage.
Sporlan's innovative Conversion Nozzle is a gold medal winner in
HVAC Magazine's 1992 Design Awards contest. The "unique" nozzle won
the gold for its ability to easily convert multi-circuited cases from R-12
or R-502 to R-22.

conversion
nozzles come in a handy kit,
complete with hard plastic
carrying case that fits easily
in your truck. Each kit con-
tains 168 conversion nozzles
to handle all your display case
requirements.
Additional nozzles are sold in
packs of six or twelve. The
Sporlan Conversion Nozzle
Kit is convenient — there’s no
need to stock unnecessary
distributors. The nozzles fit
both replaceable and non-
replaceable nozzle type dis-
tributors.
A nozzle selection chart at-
tached to the lid of the carry-
ing case helps you select the
best orifice for the job. Sporlan
also provides a handy mail-
back response card to keep you
up-to-date on all new refriger-
ants and the orifice sizes best
suited for them.
