G This parts manual contains the service parts used in the LX excavators. Refer to the “Engine parts
manual” issued separately for the engine service parts.

G Only genuine “Link–Belt” parts and lubricants are recommended for service needs. The use of high
quality genuine “Link–Belt” parts maintains your machine warranty.

I. Excavator Identification

A. Find the serial number plate located at the front of the machine on the right side of the operator’s
cab platform (1). Write the following in the spaces below: The model number, serial number and
manufacturer’s number of your excavator.

B. In the event the serial number plate is not readable, the manufacturer’s number (2) is stamped on
the upper revolving frame which can be used to identify the machine.

 II. How to order parts

A. When placing a parts order, always supply your authorized LBX Link–Belt distributor with the
model number, serial number, manufacturer’s number of your excavator, and the part number
and quantity of parts you are ordering.
B. Illustrations in this manual are not necessarily an exact representation of the parts actual position
or shape.
C. Reference to the left or right side of the machine in this manual refers to the position when the
operator is sitting in the seat and facing forward with the undercarriage drive sprockets facing
towards the rear.
D. The parts or part numbers described in this manual may be changed (including option parts), or
deleted, without any prior notice.
III. Part Description Abbreviations

A. The following abbreviations are used for the part descriptions in this manual:
LH Left Side SPL Special parts
RH Right Side REV Swing Related part
T Thickness PRESS Pressure
NO Number ASSY Complete assembly part
OPT Option ATT Attachment
HYD Hydraulic S/A Subassembly part

Interchangeability between the part in the part number column and that in the replaceable
part column is defined with the symbols as shown below:
=: Replaceable part (15) can be used in lieu of the part entered in the part no (8).
Part entered in the part no can be also used in lieu of the replaceable part
<: Replaceable part (15) can be used in lieu of the part entered in the part no (8).

1. An example of using this manual is as follows: the part you are looking for is the bracket
that holds the solenoid valve.
2. First go to the index and find the Area (1) of the machine that best corresponds to location
of the part in the part index i.e. Controls & Lines.
3. Locate the desired item under the selected section, i.e., Pilot Press & Return Line (2).
4. Check the Manufacturer’s No. (3) to make sure the code is good for the machine you have
i.e. 210Q3 01101– this code is good for all machines with 210Q3 01101 and above.
5. Locate the corresponding code in the parts page code column, i.e. DJBC01L0023–00 001 (4).
6. The column with OPT (5) shows if the parts on the page are standard for the excavator or
an option (OPT).

7. After turning to the proper section of the Manual match up the Parts Page Code (6) with
the parts page illustration and parts list page number.
8. Locate the desired part on the parts illustration(7) from the appropriate parts page code.

9. Turn to the parts list and match the item number (7) with the corresponding number on the
parts list (8)
