CIRCULAR

Sub:- Allotment of Hostel (Academic Session 2020-21)

1. The hostel fees (including boarding and lodging) for the academic session 2020-21 will
be as under:

6. Security (one time applicable, refundable) Rs. 10,000/

AC hostel will have AC as well as non AC rooms and seats will be allotted as per the demand
of the students. Further, first year students will not be allotted accommodation in AC hostel.

2. The students will be provided Group Medical Insurance Cover of Rs. 1, 00,000/ and
Accidental Insurance Cover of Rs. 2, 00,000/ without charging any extra amount.

3. In view of the demand of girls and their parents, one floor in Sarojini Bhavan (48 rooms)
has been converted into single seater rooms. The girls (other than first year) who are
willing to avail single seater room may deposit the amount accordingly. The students
exceeding 48 will be allotted double seater room, as per availability.

4. The students willing to take hostel accommodation should deposit the amount in College
Account Branch through RTGS/NEFT/Net Banking between 20th April, 2020 to 20th
May, 2020. The detail of Payee and College Bank Account are as under:

The Hostel fee may also be deposited through DD / Cheque in the name of “Raj Kumar
Goel Institute of Technology” payble at Ghaziabad or Delhi.

It may be noted that in case the information given by a student is found to be false or the
cheque / DD is dishonored due to any reason, the allotment will be cancelled and the fees
deposited may be forfeited. The hostel fees once deposited will not be refunded. Further,
in case of suspension / expulsion / rustication of a student from the hostel on disciplinary
grounds, his / her hostel fees will be forfeited.

The Students are required to deposit the hostel fees in full. The allotment will be
provisional and will be regularized on submission of the allotment form. Allotment form
may be collected from concerned warden on reopening of the college. The allotment
criteria will be “first come and first served”. Allotment will continue upto 1st June,
2020 subject to availability of the accommodation.
