How to Make Oreo Balls

Introduction
This is a simple recipe for all of the Oreo lovers! Anyone that is looking into making a
delicious dessert should try this recipe. Oreo cookies have been around since 1912 and have
become popular since then. Oreo balls are easy to make and very enjoyable. This is a step by
step guide for users with all levels of experience with making desserts. The estimated time
for this recipe is two 2 hours and 20 minutes.

Supplies Needed: Ingredients:


● Food Processor

● Spoons
● 1 Pot (Any size)
● 2 dishes
● Large mixing bowl

● 1 (1 (12 oz) Package of chocolate


chips, melted
● 1 (8 oz) Philadelphia Original
Cream Cheese
● Sprinkles or/and Oreo crumbs
(Optional)
● Milk
● 1 (14 oz) Package of Oreos

Step by Step Instructions
Preparing the Oreos
1. Break up all Oreos into 2-3 pieces by hand.

2. Put all the cut upcut-up pieces of the Oreo into the Food Processor.

3. Use the Food Processor until the Oreos turn into fine crumbs.

4. Dump the finely crushed Oreos into the large mixing bowl.
Optional: Save a small amount of Oreo crumbs on the side to add onto the Oreo balls
later on for an appealing look.
5. Open the package of the Philadelphia Original
Cream Cheese Cream and place it with the
crushed Oreos in the large mixing bowl.
6. Mix the cream cheese and the crushed Oreos
until it is blended well using your hands or
spoon.
7. Form the mixture into small balls and place
them in a dish.
8. After all the balls are completed and placed in
the dish, place the dish in the freezer for 30 minutes
to 50 minutes.

Preparing Melted Chocolate

1. 10 minutes before you plan to take the balls out of the freezer, put the chocolate chips
in the pot and let it sit on the stove for 1 minute.
2. Add a small amount of milk to the pot of chocolate and stir it well with a spoon until the
milk and chocolate chips are mixed well together.

Note: The texture of the melted chocolate chips should be slightly thick yet thin enough to easily stir
and completely smooth.

3. Dip the frozen Oreo balls into the melted chocolate one by one
with a spoon.

Note: Do not leave the Oreo balls dipped into the hot melted chocolate for

frozen ball to not hold its shape.

4. Once it is fully covered with chocolate take it


out and put it into a different dish.
5. Once all the balls are dipped into the chocolate,
place the dish in the freezer again for 1 hour.
6. Serve and enjoy!

Note: The texture of the melted chocolate chips should be slightly thick yet thin enough to easily stir
and completely smooth.

Optional: For an attractive look, you can add sprinkles or use the saved Oreo crumbs to add on
top of the chocolaty Oreo balls before putting it back in the freezer.
