Code of Conduct – Summer Training 2019

On behalf of ICT Academy – IIT Kanpur , we welcome you for this training. It is our privilege to have you with us and it
will be our sincere endeavor to fulfill your learning objective and pave your path for a bright career and future.
This code of conduct provides you with all the details and information to be followed for better learning experience.

With your cooperation, together we will make your experience a wholesome and complete one.

Course Delivery
1. The course will be delivered as per schedule. The Contents, daily schedule and total duration are provided in the
courses contents . In case of any doubt please contact us.
2. a. The course contains conceptual as well as practical sessions. The duration of the course cannot be altered
/changed. Only in certain circumstances where it is either important, such changes will be incorporated. The schedule of
all the batches will be announced 45 days before the training begins.
b. Students have to ensure that they have thorough with the prerequisites of the course that they have chosen .
c. Notice for any batch / course closure will be announced 30 days in advance . Such Students who have paid (and their
batch not happening due to any reason ) the fees can either request for refund or can get the course transferred to any
other location where this course is being conducted provided we have adequate seats to accommodate you .
3. Students will have to bring their laptop for the trainings.
4. If there is a delay in the course for any unforeseen reason, the same shall be completed by conducting extra sessions .
5. Complete fees has to be paid before the start of the batch.
6. Students will have to carry their college I card and other identity proof with them all the time . The student also has to
carry the hall card provided to them throughout the training .
7. The student attendance has to be more than 80% failing which the student is not eligible for any certificate.
8. The student has to appear in all assignments and tests failing which the student is not eligible for certificates.
9. The student who absents himself/ herself during the examination day or fails in the exam shall not be allowed for re-
examination under any circumstances. Student who will be absent during assessment will be provided course attended
certificate provided his/her attendance is 80%.
10. There is no provision of Re-exam for grade improvement.
11. The format of assignments and test will be made available to you before the sessions begins. Anyone having any
difficulty shall contact the trainer for assistance.
12. The certificate will be provided to you on-line.
13. Course fees is not transferable.
14. Student dropping out of the course midway due to any reason are not eligible for refunds or certificate.
15. If you join the course midway or absent yourself from the class, you are expected to cover the course with the help
of your friends. Do not expect the trainer to teach you the entire course you missed out though you can expect help
from the trainer.
16. Proper discipline has to be maintained. Student misbehaving with the trainer or disturbing the class which disturbs
the normal course of delivery shall be suspended for further course and requests for refund or certificate will not be
entertained under any circumstances.
17. NO Placement assistance or assurance in any form related to this training.
18. Student has to follow the decorum of the institution and maintain the dignity of the institution where the trainings
are organized. Any student found flouting rules and regulations or engaging in an activity not acceptable to the
institution, ICT-IIT has full right to terminate / suspend the candidate from the training there and then and no refunds
shall be entertained.
19. The ICT-IITK reserves the right to alter/modify/delete /adds any of the above rules as deemed fit. The said decision
shall be final and binding on the students.
20. In all matter pertaining to above or any matter not covered above shall solely be at the discretion of ICT-IITK and are
binding to all students.
