Uniqlo and Penshoppe are two of the most best-selling cloth companies in the country.

They
utilize the best materials in creating their products that will surely satisfy the consumers. Each of them
has a creative approach in attracting customers but they have their own similarities as well. Companies
treat advertisements as competition, they come up with flexible and genuine ideas that will significantly
increase the number of their buyers. With the power of advertisement, companies can make a name for
themselves through their creative and brilliant ideas. But one little mistake in conduct will cost the
reputation of the company and leading it to its ruin.

With companies like these, there are certain approaches to be made in order to have an impact
on the consumer. Through their websites, they try to make a case on why their product should be the
one to be desired on. Both of them use this quite abundantly and capitalize on graphic representations
of their products to show their desirability. However, Penshoppe gives more information to the
consumer as they contain newsletters and announcements from the company itself. To keep the
consumer up to date with their promos are a very nice and subtle thing to do.

When it comes to utilizing technology at the most efficient way, Uniqlo has a more subtle
approach than Penshoppe. It’s because they include their social media accounts that are popular to
teens nowadays like Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. They post every relevant news, brand new
products, and statuses that will catch the consumer’s attention. Uniqlo takes advantage of the benefits
of technology, one of it is since technology is known for its wireless communication, they can reach any
people everywhere as long as they have the connection. The company knew that if they post
advertisements through social media, this will surely influence the consumer’s friends or relatives. If the
consumer likes the product, he will recommend it and force his influences to buy it. In this aspect,
Uniqlo is one step ahead while Penshoppe is trailing two steps behind.

Penshoppe and Uniqlo have a slight difference in their audience or who their main target market
is. Penshoppe appeals more to the youthful side with their countless collaborations with different
international and local companies that are hot in the eyes of teens i.e We Bare Bears, Hotwheels,
Goodyear, etc. Their marketing strategy of collaborating with these companies create a want from the
consumer which is ultimately boosted by the name of a collaborator. Uniqlo on the other hand is more
of a vanilla type of company with their approach. They work on the principle of being prim and proper.
Stores and shelves are very well organized and clean which they uphold to their Japanese origins. Thus,
their resulting target market tends to be more diverse, they cater to even the adults and the elderly and
show it also by having a diverse selection of models to showcase their products.
