Pollution is the introduction of contaminants into the


natural environment that cause adverse change. Pollution can take
the form of chemical substances or energy such ass noise, heat or
light. Pollutants, the components of pollution, can either be foreign
substances, energy or naturally occurring contaminants.

more we consume,the
more garbage we incur.
Garbage disposal has
been a monumental
problem ever since.

produced per day.

1. Quezon City: 3,151,961 kilograms per day


2. Manila: 1,174,821 kg per day
3. Caloocan City: 912,812 kg per day
4. Parañaque City: 579,555 kg per day
5. Makati City: 513,108 kg per day

Problems

Problems in the community life are among the most distressing


and troublesome aspects of our modern society, yet psychology as
a field has given them relatively little attention. The great bulk of
psychological practice and research is directed at individual
psychological problems and difficulties.
Community problems are arguably are broader and more
important because a large degree aspect young, old, rich and
poor, male and female, majority and minority group numbers.

How To Solve Environmental Health Problems

The most pressing environmental health problems now are the


climate change, global warming, unsafe drinking water, poor air
quality, and contaminated food supplies. Environmental problems
may our exposure and more importantly, strengthen our bodies and
environmental systems to resist contamination.

Some of the Environmental Solutions:

1. Decrease your contribution to pollution while improving your


quality of life. Turning down your air condition during cold
weather decreases carbon emissions and also improve air
quality.

2. Use biodegradable, safe cleaning agents, pesticides and body


clean by Keeping your home and your body clean by limiting
the use of chemicals in your house and yard to prevent
contaminants from getting inside.

3. Limit your contaminants exposure. Ensure that the things you
use inside your home are made of materials that do not limit
chemicals while also encouraging sustainable use of resources.

4. Eat natural and organic foods, drink clean water, and exercise
in clean environment.

5. Properly dispose waste and garbage.

6. Stabilize and improve our economy.

7. . Promote a “Smoke and Drug Free” community.

8. Being reminded of the effects of smoking and drug through


media and community projects help lessen the number of
users.
