Reporting and Editing

Reporting means presenting in newspapers, on radio, and on television.

Editing means the process of selecting and preparing writing, photography,

visual, audible, and film media used to convey information.

By editing we can prepare a news report for publication, telecast or broadcast.

Editing is a process by which a report is read, corrected, modified, and value-
added, polished, improved and made better for publication. Condensation is
also part of editing.
