Regular Season Notes:

o Kick Off Classic, Week 1 and Week 2 games would be cancelled.
o Teams will begin on Week 3 of your 2020 schedule.
o If your county has in county only travel restrictions, please notify the FHSAA and opposing schools.
o Classes will be redrawn after October 12, 2020.
o Smallest 1/3 based on population will go in Class 2A – 4A.
o Largest 2/3 based on school population will go in Class 5A – 8A.
o Class 1A Rural will remain the same.

o No District Champions in 2020.

o All teams who declare State Series will earn a playoff spot.
o Class 1A – 4A; 8 teams in each region will qualify.
o Class 5A – 8A; 16 teams per region will qualify.
o No rankings, seeds will be determined by blind draw.
o Blind draw seeds will be done October 26.
o Class 1A – 4A; If there are more than 8 teams in your region week 11 will be a play-in State Series game.
o Class 5A – 8A; if there are more than 16 teams in your region week 11 will be a play-in State Series game.
o Home team will be determined by coin flip.

Important Information
• If a team is currently independent, they will remain independent.
• If a team declares non-State Series on Monday, October 12, they may play games through Saturday, December 5.
• If a team loses in Rounds 1, 2, or 3 of the playoffs they may play games up to Saturday, December 5.
