i. Before reading the article/understanding the lesson, I thought that globalization of culture is
not even an issue. However, reading the article/understanding the lesson, I now think/realize
that it is an issue in international communication theory such as media influence like “magic
bullet” or hypodermic needle” theory.

ii. Before reading the article/understanding the lesson, I thought that there would be equality in
media and information. However, reading the article/understanding the lesson, I now
think/realize that flows of news and entertainment was different from north to south
countries. This made more complex and widened the scope of debate about international
flows.

iii. Before reading the article/understanding the lesson, I thought that the cultural imperialism is
just an idea. However, reading the article/understanding the lesson, I now think/realize that
globalization of culture is obvious. Through media and the current lifestyle of people.
