1 Mitra, A., M. Mukherjee, & Naik, K. (2015). Enhancement of power system transient stability using a
novel adaptive backstepping control law, In Proceedings of the 2015 third international conference on
computer, communication, control and information technology (c3it).

Research Experience
Key Experience with ABB, GISPL
2017 $ Relay Modelling on PSCAD for SS project, Various relays like transformer differential relay,
distance relays had been modeled in PSCAD to understand its tripping characteristics . These
relays were tuned in lieu of actual system by other group of ABB.
2018 $ Define Requirement for PFS, Requirements like platform maintenance requirements, safety
at the platform, overload capability of converter due to starting requirements of the platform
motors are investigated after discussion with stake holders
2019 $ Preparation Of Valve Technical Document for PFS, Valve technical description like cell ca-
pacitor size, nominal cell voltage, maximum cell voltage was prepared which was used for the
design of the converter.

Key Experience during Mtech

2015 $ Thesis: Voltage stability monitoring using Lyapunov Exponent (Undrer Dr. Saikat
Chakrabarti). Lyuapunov exponent is a widely used index to identify the chaotic behavior of
a dynamic system. In this thesis, a thorough investigation was done on the feasibility of using
Lyapunov exponent for early detection of voltage stability problems.
