resume by completing/filling out the
table.

D. Lesson Proper
-What does a Resume mean?
-Resume is a tool for marketing
one’s self.
-Very good!
-How can you sell yourself to your future
employer?
-By impressing the employer ma’am.
As much as possible, write all the
good things that can help you
impressed the employer.
-Very good!
-A resume is a summary of your education,
training, experience, and other job
qualifications.
- Going back to your activity, analyze the
resume that you have made. What are the
components of a resume?
-Personal data and contact info.,
career objectives, educational
attainment, work experience,
achievements, trainings and seminars
attended, affiliations, references
ma’am.
-Very good!
-(The teacher will pick a number from the

of a resume to the number that she picked)
-(The teacher will ask the students to use
the sample resume posted on the board to

writing a resume?
-Misspelled words, wrong words,
and unnecessary information.
-(The teacher will pick a number from the
box and ask, “What will happen if you
misspell words to your resume?)
-Misspelled words create another
meaning. And in writing a resume, it
must be free from typographical
error for your future employer to be
impressed. It must be written
perfectly and must be submitted free
from any mistake.
-Very good!
-(The teacher will pick a number and ask,
“What do we mean by a resume should
avoid wrong words? What will happen if
we use wrong word/s?)
-Wrong choice of word, misuse of
word, and wrong word is a big no for
someone who will write a resume
because like in misspell word, it will
create another meaning which cannot
definitely help you to get a chance
for an interview.
-Very good!
-(The teacher will pick a number and ask,
“Is there a need for us to write unnecessary
information in our resume?”
-No ma’am.
-Why?
-Because it is unnecessary for the
employer to know everything
especially if it is not related to the
field or position that you are
applying for.
-Very good!
E. Generalization
-Is a resume a summary of your academics
and work history?
-No ma’am.
-What is the true depiction of a resume?
-It depicts personality, background,
capabilities, accomplishments, and
sense of quality.
-Very good!
-Do we need to give importance to a
resume’s preparation?
-Yes ma’am.
-Why?
-Because it will be the first point of
interaction between an employer and
an applicant, and a resume will tell
whether you qualify for the
interview.
