INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Notes:
- You must have administrative privileges to install and uninstall this
program.

1 ) Insert installation DVD or installation USB thumb drive.

2 ) If installation process does not begin momentarily, Select "Start"->"Settings"
->"Control Panel" from the "Start" menu on the task bar.
3 ) From the Control Panel select "Add/Remove Programs".
4 ) Select "Install" on the Add/Remove Programs Properties Dialog.
5 ) Select "Next" and follow instructions as necessary.

NOTES:
=====
1 ) NEXIQ USB-Link drivers version 9.3.1.0 are in the "NEXIQ USB-Link Drivers"
folder. Run "USB-LinkInstall.exe" to install the drivers. NEXIQ Universal
drivers are not needed for the USB-Link.
2 ) The Noregon DLA+Wireless v3.3.5451.1 drivers are in the
"Noregon DLA+ Wireless Drivers" folder. Run "setup.exe" to install the drivers.
3 ) The Dearborn drivers are in the "Dearborn DPA Drivers" folder.
- To install DPA 4/4+ v2.20, run "Dearborn DPA Drivers\DR121032_USBnr.EXE".
- To install DPA 4+ DPA4PMA v1.36, run "Dearborn DPA
Drivers\DPA4PMA\DPA4Plus_RP1210.EXE".
- To install DPA 5 DGDPA5MA v1.37, run "Dearborn DPA
Drivers\DPA5\DPA5Install.EXE".
4 ) The Noregon Softing RP1210A API is in the "Noregon Softing RP1210A API" folder.
Run "setup.exe" to install the drivers. To use a Softing device with the
application, you must install the device drivers and copy the "can*.dll"
('*' is based on the particular device being used) to the Windows folder.

HARDWARE / SOFTWARE CONFIGURATION:

Allison DOC� For PC � Service Tool V13.0.0 has only been tested and
validated on PCs with the following configurations:
o Microsoft� Windows XP� Professional, Windows 7�, and Windows 8�

Note: In order to install and update Allison DOC� For PC � Service Tool
V13.0.0, the user must have full administrator privileges.

o20 GB Hard Drive, (40 GB or greater recommended)

o2 GB free hard drive space required to install from DVD, 3 GB for downloaded
package; after software installation, the operating system requires
sufficient
free hard disk space to run the program
 o Pentium� IV class processor 1.3 GHz (2 GHz recommended)
o 1 GB of RAM system memory (2GB recommended)
o Monitor capable of supporting a resolution of 1280x768 or higher
o DVD-ROM or USB port depending on installation media
o Full administrative privileges are required to install, use, and
update the Allison DOC� For PC�Service Tool
o Internet broadband connection capability (Internet Explorer� 7 or greater)
for activation/reactivation, receiving updates and file downloads
o Network card

Error messages, sudden disconnections, and poor performance may result if
