We express our whole hearted gratitude to our Director Dr. Y.Manohar Garu, and Principal
Dr. P.Venkateshwar Rao, of Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science for providing the
conductive environment for carrying through our academic schedules and projects with ease.
We also offer our profuse thanks and express humble reverence to Sri V.Ramaiah garu,
Professor and Head of Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at KITS Warangal.
Words fail as we wish to express our profound gratitude for the extremely pragmatic guidance
rendered to us Sri P.Nagarjuna Reddy sir for his valuable suggestions and guidance all
through the completion of the project.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to all Faculty Members of Department of
Electrical and Electronics Engineering for their cooperation and encouragement.
We pay respects and love to our parents for their encouragement throughout our career. Last but
not the least we express whole hearted thanks to our friends for their cooperation and endless
support.

There are many limitations in extracting power from renewable energy resources.
To minimize the power demand and scarcity we have to improve the power extracting
methods. Multilevel inverter is used to extract power from solar cells. It synthesizes the
Multilevel inverters have changed the face of medium- and high-voltage drives. The
most popular topologies of multilevel converters are the neutral point-clamped inverter
(NPC), the flying capacitor inverter (FC), and the cascaded H-bridge (CHB) inverter.
Each one of these inverters has its own merits and demerits.
Another important feature of this topology is that if any H-bridge fails, it can be by
passed and the configuration can still operate as a three-level inverter at its full power
technique for the Gating signal for each switch Simulation work is done using the
MATLAB software and experimental results have been presented to validate the
theory.
