UTILITY PIPING

 Equipment and piping containing slurries shall have minimum size 1inch NPS drain connections,
unless the type of drain valve dictates a larger size.
 Fire-fighting and fire-protection piping shall be as per existing Fire water piping class and shall
comply with the applicable NFPA standards and shall be in accordance with project SPEC.

Battery limit to evaporation pond and line to SWP from drainage system, 5 tie in connection
 The total population will be approximately 500 people. Sanitary effluent generated is based
on 300 l/capita/day. Therefore, the total daily flow to be considered in the STP’s is 150 m3/day
(6,25 m3/h) each.
 A peak factor of 4 shall be considered for the maximum flow, thus maximum flow at the
inlet to be considered will be 25 m 3/h. Pumping pit shall be capable of handling this flow
during 3 hours, in combination with pumps discharge flow to the treatment.
 Required pumping to treatment capacity shall be 2 times the average flow, meaning 12,5
m3/h, and therefore the inlet pumping pit net capacity shall be no less than 37,5 m3 to ensure
no overflows will occur.

Drainage system

 3 pump basin are used

 PB2 by dia 200 mm from Gymansium and Dinning Hall
 PB3 by 200 mm dia to collect ewage from Hotel for Chinese and reception.
Each pump basin is a concrete pump basin with 2 pump which is a vertical immersed pump one
is stanby and one is active.(Q30 cm/h and H 25 m)

 Potable water tank minimum capacity is 150m3(expected 167 m3)


 Minimum inlet water temperature has been assumed as 13 ºC for design, and maximum inlet
water temperature has been assumed as 35 ºC. Raw water tie in is located in raw water pipe, at
the existing tie in for future expansion. Considering the recovery of the re-verse osmosis,
maximum of 42 m 3/h of Raw water is expected to be required.
 Two number of plants are considered with a net flow capacity of 32 m3/hr each, Running
parallel to achieve required flowrate of 60 m3/hr
