Health & Safety

Physical distancing will be practiced to the extent


possible in all learning environments
Students are encouraged to wear masks when unable
to physically distance
Families are strongly encouraged to conduct their own
Transportation health screening at home daily
Masks will be worn by staff when unable to physically
Car riding is encouraged distance
Families will be asked to commit to be a car rider
Family members will sit together on the bus
Masks are required on buses

Elementary Schools & Bedford Primary All Middle Schools (4-6)
Bedford Elementary (1-3) Students whose elementary schools do
Bedford Primary (PK & K) not list 4th grade will be assigned to their
Big Island Elementary (K-4) zoned middle school

All High Schools (7-12)
Forest Elementary (K-4)
Students will be assigned to their zoned

Blended learning model with aspects of both
in person and online techniques
Each student assigned a learning coach to help
guide them and their family
In person learning will initially occur at least two days a week
Number of days attending in person may be adjusted based on
individual learner needs
Teachers will be available for in person instruction with individuals or
small groups of learners during the days they attend school
Some electives offered face-to-face
Students take three to four courses per semester
Times may be staggered slightly to allow for
physical distancing

Remote
Start Date for Remote: August 24
Offered as a learning option to all students
Teachers will virtually connect with students
Families will have to commit their child to
remote learning
Remote learners are eligible to participate
in extracurricular or after-school activities
Chromebooks will be provided for remote
learning if needed
