Since the dawn of mankind, the human race has wrestled with disasters, diseases, wars,

and so forth. Life, however, is valuable, which gives people incentives to conquer all of
the problems and find the meaning of life. Even if people cannot find it, they still do not
accept problems and try to live happily, a unique attribute of humankind.
As life is meaningful, there are many ways for people to control all of the chaos. First,
people must make their thoughts clear, since both stress and anxiety can help define their
aims and objectives. Thomas Edison perfectly exemplifies this argument. When he first
introduced his light bulb at the science conference, it did not work as he had expected,
which rendered him humiliated in front of other contemporaries. Then he failed to
explore the reasons why his bulb burnt out after a few minutes so many times that he
became stressed and nervous. Notwithstanding that, he still made clarity of thought that
he must continue to fix the light bulb until it worked well. Eventually, he succeeded.
Second, people should organize the problems to find a solution for each instead of
immersing in the maelstrom without knowing what is in store for them. This method can
aid to reduce pressure and nerve they are suffering from, hence people stand a higher
chance of managing the problems.
Numerous as ways of finding the value of life are, I believe there are two main methods:
feeling connected to and valued by the surrounding people and having a sense of purpose.
Concerning the former, it seems that when people express sympathy for someone or share
their fun with others, it is they that receive a sense of relief from their acts, which makes
life easier and of more importance. Regarding the latter, one with ambition will always
strive to achieve his goal no matter how many obstacles are, as he only thinks about his
dream, thereby no time for fearing the chaos. Consequently, this may transform life with
problems into a colorful one.
Many wonder that by which ways can people face difficulties bravely and avoid depress
when they are in misery and feel life is meaningless. It is thanks to resilience, a virtue
that only human beings possess. It was resilience that helped many famous figures refind
the value of life after being wrapped up in misery due to rejection and their failures. JK
Rowling, whose seven-year period, from 1990 to 1997, saw the death of her mother,
divorce from her husband, and poverty and whose Harry Potter series manuscript was
rejected 12 times, did not give up until a publisher accepted it. By now, it has become
ubiquitous the world over.
In conclusion, since people are born to live, and though life is always challenging them,
they can still find ways to defeat all of the challenges and seek the meaning of life.
Unless they find the value of life, resilience will help them avert bad things and live with
optimism.
