The "Transport fork DM 1.5t adjustable" is a load sus-
pension device that is only suitable for lifting Dokamatic
and/or Dokaflex tables.
Using the Dokamatic lifting strap 13.00m
➤ Offload the transport fork from the truck using 2
Dokamatic lifting straps 13.00m.

Using the integrated lifting slings

Before every use
➤ Check for any signs of damage or visible deforma-
tion.
Damaged or deformed "Transport forks DM
1.5t (adjustable)" that do not meet the follow-
ing criteria must be withdrawn from use imme-
diately.
● Crack-free and notch-free welds
● No deformation
● Rating plate must be in place and clearly
legible
● Lifting slings checked for damage and
found to be OK.
➤ Detach both the lifting slings from the "Parked" posi-
tion (G) .
➤ Hook the lifting sling (C) into the first crane hook.
➤ Swing the lifting sling (A) to the opposite side of the
Lifting extension bracket and hook it into the second
crane hook. This will ensure that the transport fork is
offloaded in the horizontal.

➤ Remove the d6 spring cotter from Pos. 1 and pull out
the D37 fork-bolt.
➤ Detach the lifting sling (A) from the "Parked" position
(G) and hook it into the crane hook of the first part of
the 2-part lifting chain.

➤ Push the D37 fork-bolt back into the Upright tube (D)
Pos. 3 and fix it with the d6 spring cotter.
➤ Lower the lifting chain until the crane hook of the sec-
ond part of the 2-part lifting chain is within reach of
the lifting sling (C) .
➤ Hook the lifting sling (C) into the crane hook.

Function of the fork markings A

☞ For every lifting operation, it is desirable to posi-

tion the table as near as possible to the horizon-
tal.
Once you know the ideal position on the fork for a cer-
tain table, it is easy to repeat this position on subse-
quent tables of the same type, by referring to the mark-
ings on the fork.
These markings are also a highly visible safety warning 9767-228-01

to the site crew when the fork is hovering in the air.

➤ Prepare the transport fork for lifting the tables.

☞ To make it easier and safer to guide the trans-
port fork when manoeuvring it under the Doka
tableforms, always use the guide cables.

Setting the fork width
☞ ● The Transport fork DM 1.5t must be resting
on level ground, with the Lifting extension
bracket in the "Parked" position.
➤ Always adjust the fork profiles one at a time.
➤ The fork profiles must always be positioned
symmetrically.
➤ Remove the d6 spring cotter from Pos. 8.
➤ Pull out all three D37 fork-bolts from Pos. 8.
➤ Keeping the first fork profile parallel with the second
fork profile, move it as far as the desired width-mark
at Pos. 9.
➤ Bolt all three D37 fork-bolts into Pos. 8, and fix with
the d6 spring cotter.

move it as far as the corresponding width-mark.

➤ Completely raise the Lifting extension bracket and
set it down on squared timbers on the ground.
➤ Remove the d6 spring cotter from Pos. 3 and pull out
the D37 fork-bolt.
➤ Remove the cotter pin and axle washer from Pos. 6
and pull out the fork axle.
➤ Separate the Lifting extension-bracket tube (B) from
the Upright tube (D) .
➤ Push the D37 fork-bolt back into the Upright tube (D)
Pos. 3 and fix it with the d6 spring cotter.
➤ Hook the lifting sling (A) at the end of the 'Lifting
extension bracket' nearest the 'Vertical extension'
into the crane hook of the first part of the 2-part lifting
chain.
➤ Raise the Lifting extension bracket plus Vertical
extension, and introduce it into the fork-adjustment
profile (G) .
➤ Bolt in place with the D37 fork axle from Pos. 5, fix
on an axle washer and secure with a d6 spring cot-
ter.

tube (D) at Pos. 4, using the D37 fork axle from
Pos. 6 and the D37 fork-bolt from Pos. 2.
➤ Place the axle washer on the fork axle.
