Other Language Dimension

As writers, everyone of us has our own styles and ways of doing our literary. In
this sense, we have our own “style” of writing. May it be your own-made experiment of
styles, free verse, blending of different styles or getting an inspired style from someone
who is knowledgeable or famous. There is always an inner “stylistics” in us that we need
to further learn to improve it or we need to deepen to make our writings more
sentimental and valuable.
Upon discussing the other language dimension such as vulgar and innuendo
languages, I had realized that I may not be familiar with but it is already widely known.
Vulgar languages are already used by many people and writers especially nowadays
that it is known by many people. Vulgar languages are already used by people even
writers not, not just in writing but also in speaking. In terms of literature, I might not read
any literary that uses vulgar language but when I searched for it, I have seen many that
used it already. Innuendo, even though it uses positive or good words that are pleasing
to hear, still lies many negative and undesirable meaning when it is analyzed deeper.
Innuendo, as what was explained on the report, is mostly used by men and most of the
time has a sexual interpretations.
Using those languages in literary will make it relatable by the reader because as
what was mentioned before, it is already widely known and famous to everyone. Using
vulgar languages in literature makes the literary be easily understood to people who has
wide vulgar vocabulary. Also, if the literary uses vulgarity, readers will be more inclined
with it because it will tickle their curiosity. On the other hand, using innuendo in writing a
literary will make the readers learn another technique or style in writing and it will also
make them curios of the meaning of the statements. Aside from that, if they are already
aware of the statements, they can now use it on their own writings and also, they will
not be bullied or insulted using those statements. The readers and writers who are
using vulgarity and innuendo wanted to show how to use negative meanings of words
and turn it into a positive one.
Therefore, knowledge about vulgarity and innuendo will make our eyes open in
playing with the meanings of the words. It will also make us construct our own style of
writing using those.
