MECHANICS

 The participants of the said contest should be a bonafide college student of Northwestern
Agusan Colleges.
 Each group will perform a dance number with a minimum of 2 and a maximum 3
minutes.
 Any person performing on stage will be considered part of the group and will be subject
to all rules.
 The members of the group maybe composed of all males or females, or any combination
thereof.
 It is prohibited to hire a trainer who is not a part of their schedule.
 The DANCE NUMBER must have an accompaniment of any lively music with modern
steps.
 Remix or medley is prohibited.
 Each group will submit their music on March 2-4, 2020 to Mr. Rhayanstewart Adelantar,
High School Teacher. The sequence of the performances will be drawn by lot and will be
determine on the March 4, Wednesday.
 If the group fails to perform during their turn because of any unexpected circumstance
may result to disqualification.
 The use of pyrotechnic gadgets, a smoke or combustible material as props is not allowed.
 Any violation of the said mechanics (1,2,3,4,5,6,7 and 9) will be deducted 3 points from
the group’s total score.
 The group will be judged by the following criteria:

o Choreography -              35%

o Mastery -              30%
o Execution - 20%
o Overall Impression                                 -              15%
Total           -             100%
 The decision of the members of the board of judges is final and irrevocable.

BANNER MAKING CONTEST

MECHANICS
 The participants of the said contest should be a bonafide college student of Northwestern
Agusan Colleges.
 Each team must have one entry.
 The banner should be one (1) meter wide and one (1) meter long.
 It should be made out of recyclable and indigenous materials.
 It should have relevance to the theme.
 The banner should contain the following:
 The name of the group
 The theme
 Failure to follow the said mechanics may lead to disqualification.
The banners will be judged according to the following Criteria:
Creativity and Presentation – 40%
Originality – 30%
Relevance to the Theme – 30%
TOTAL 100%
 The decision of the members of the board of judges is final and irrevocable.
 DANCE PRESENTATION
MECHANICS
 The participants of the said contest should be a bonafide college student of Northwestern
Agusan Colleges
 Each team must have an entry.
 It can be a musical dance or dance drama
 The duration of the presentation must not be shorter than three (3) minutes and must not
exceed five (5) minutes.
 The members of the groups may be composed of all males, all females, or any
combination thereof.
 The presentation should have a relevance to the theme
 Failure to follow the said mechanics may lead to disqualification.

Criteria for Judging:

Choreography (Creativity, Artistry, Style & Originality) -              50%
Execution (Timing & Coordination, Projection & Expression) -              30%
Costume                                                                                   -              10%
Audience Impact                                                                       -              10%
