THE ROLE On behalf of our client we are seeking candidates with significant engineering
experience to fill a position as Consultant/Project Leader with focus on Digital in Oil
& Gas. You’ll be a core member of the Energy Practice working alongside some of the
world’s top minds in management consulting and with their world-class data
science team. You will collaborate with executive level clients on some of the most
important projects to drive digital transformation in the upstream Oil & Gas
sector. Occasionally, you will advise clients in other industries and topics as well.

At Consultant level you will be part of high-performing, multi-disciplinary project

teams, providing technical subject matter expertise, conducting detailed fact-based
analyses, and co-developing state of the art digital solutions for upstream Oil & Gas
companies. You will own specific modules and support project execution at the
intersection between Oil & Gas and data science.

At Project Leader level you will be accompanied in developing into a role which leads
those project teams, enabling them to find the right approach, motivating them to
deliver on time and to achieve long-term impact for our clients. You will also lead and
orchestrate the majority of the project related interactions, ensuring a constructive
collaboration with our clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES You will have the chance to:

• Play a leading role in the growth of the Digital in Oil & Gas topic through case
execution, client development, and intellectual property & product creation

• Execute, or provide expertise and support to, Digital projects within the upstream
Oil & Gas sector for key clients around the world

• Actively support business development efforts: client meetings, industry

conferences

• Contribute to the creation of intellectual capital on the topic: position papers,

studies, insights from case experience, tools and products

• Dedicate time to develop own and the firm’s expertise - driving the content agenda
to the next level

• Provide mentorship and support to more junior consultants to ensure continuous

individual development

YOUR PROFILE Experience:

• Consultant level: 5-8 years of work experience in global upstream Oil & Gas
company, gained within reservoir engineering, drilling engineering or process
engineering disciplines

• Project Leader level: Additional years of project/team leadership experience will

be of advantage

• Deep understanding of upstream Oil & Gas operations and value chain is required

Education and Qualification:

• Strong academics from a top-tier engineering institution. An MBA is desirable but

not essential

• Strong background in mathematics, applied physics, or similar

Professional Skills:

• Strong track record of professional achievements

• Solid business acumen
