Interference, Dropped Calls, Missing neighbors, Coverage holes, Non-working Sites or Sectors, Proper handover,
Hopping.
 Identifying poor coverage/quality areas and provide recommendations for improving the same and configuring
GPRS setting in mobile and done GPRS Drive using FTP command as a city drive.
 Suggesting to our project lead to plan a new Repeater or BTS site to solve low-level problem and responsible for Site
Relocation for Better Coverage & Capacity.
 Doing Drive Test & Optimization of city & rural site, Optimization RF Parameters as well as Physical Parameters.
 Giving suggestion to project lead about correction in parameters & sector addition according Network performance.
 Doing nominal planning based on coverage or capacity requirements and supervising site surveys. Frequency
planning and creation of command files for new and redeployed sites.
 Planning and implementation of Micro sites and In-building solutions. Analyze data and propose necessary
recommendations on RF parameters changes, new feature activation (congestion relief), frequency re-tunes, coverage
enhancements, neighbor changes and capacity upgrades. These changes were done to improve the network KPIs such
as coverage, drop call rates, SDCCH drop rates and capacity.
 Benchmarking of network through drive test.
 Responsible for collecting data using TEMS investigation and analyzed using MapInfo. Carrying out Drive test for
network optimization and analyzing the drive test on post processing tools.
 Experience of having looked after the Network Planning for GSM network
 Handling customer complaints on basis of coverage, & quality or any RF issue by giving a best possible solution
 Giving recommendation of RF Specifications of the sites including type of Antenna, Tower Height. Proposal of new
sites for enhancing capacity and filling coverage holes.
 Making & Comparing Power Point Presentations of Pre- & Post Optimization- Rxlevel, RxQual, SQI & Interference
 Coordinate with Drive test teams to suggest changes in Antenna orientations, Antenna height, tilts etc. New site
