Arjun: technology, what is it? When we think of technology we think of

robots, machines
And things like computers. But what is technology?.

Aditya: Well the answer is simple. Technology is anything we created to

make tasks simpler.
For example, we use phones for texting to deliver messages instead of mail
or telegram, or we made new electric vehicles to save on fossil fuels and to
protect the environment

Roshan: when we say technology we think of technology as something new

but technology
Has existed for over 200 000 years. Early humans used technology like
tools made from stone or weapons made from bones to make hunting
more efficient and easier

Think of cooking and farming it completely changed the lifestyle of people

plus the people’s bodies to make them suit the condition. Think that you
might look like a robot in the future.

Arnav: Well, how is technology good for us? Well, the answer is simple.
It helps us do things that we struggle to do. For example, The Mars rover
was able to land on Mars and do a lot of vital research on the planet

Roshan -Life around us just keeps changing every new generation keeps
adapting to the surrounding environment, and start way ahead of the
other generations and then go and create things that are so advanced
that they change the way we function.

Arjun: You may think that technology is just good and filled with
advantages and all, well it keeps getting better but nothing is perfect
right- here are few of the disadvantages of technology.
Social media- You may have heard your parents warn you that it rots
your brain, that is right it does, once you start doing it becomes an
addiction and you just can’t stop scrolling

Aditya: Well, technology has its own many advantages, but with those even
there are even a lot of disadvantages. That depends on how we humans
operate it and how much responsibility we carry with it.
One of them is the Pokémon Go game addiction. About a year ago this
new game came called Pokémon Go, people loved it so much that they got
addicted to the game. They went into open traffic to catch Pokémon, it got
so serious that people started to die by going into to traffic and risking
their life for stupid reasons.

Arjun: You might wonder if the technology is already so advanced how will
it be later in the future? We don’t know, but we feel that it will probably be
better than what it is now.
Aditya: we have started to create artificial intelligence to perform complex
tasks and these incredible machines also have the ability to analyze data.
We never know what might happen in the future, there might be robotic
dogs, all mankind might get vaporized. What I am trying to say is that the
future might be even more convenient or very inconvenient, we will never
know.

Roshan: Companies are making things so crazy, even robotic dogs.

Imagine the future will there be new crazy animals. Or we might even find a
way to add our DNA to robots to create realistic animals. I mean there are
so many crazy things happening, there are restaurants controlled by
robots, monkeys are butlers, there are self-cleaning bottles to help the
environment.

But how will we communicate in the future you ask ??

We may be able to communicate in the future by sending our thoughts
directly into someone else's brain through a network of thought.

Futurist Dr Ian Pearson, whose work is to foretell the future, said: "By 2050,
we should be speaking through thought recognition technology through
the use of some sort of technological telepathy.

Cool right. Won’t it be amazing to tell someone any time anywhere any
situation something it will be, but we’re decades away from that kind of
technology

Aditya: what I think is that technology has taken a big leap over time, us
and technology have evolved so much that
It has made life so convenient for us, and if technology was not there I
don't know where we would be right now.
Jeffrey: technology is like magic how it evolved over the years is like so
amazing it is like in a year we used fire then suddenly we got high tech
stuff and you can't even think about the future

Arjun: I feel without technology we would still be apes and might still be
hunter-gatherers

Roshan: I feel that humans have really changed since the start and can get
better even now and change the world completely
