This large strawberry is crocheted in single crochet like amigurumi, which is worked in a continuous
spiral not completed rnds.

Abbreviations:

Sc2tog =​ crochet 2 stitches together (decrease).

M1 =​ crochet 2 sc in the same stitch (increase).
[…] =​ stitch count
(…) =​ number of rounds
sc =​ single crochet
ch =​ chain
Sl st =​ slip stitch
hdc =​ half double crochet

The strawberry with red yarn

Begin with a magic ring.
Rnd 1: 6 sc in the ring. [6]
Rnd 2: M1 6x. [12]
Rnd 3: *1 sc, M1* 6x. [18]
Rnd 4: *2 sc, M1* 6x. [24]
Rnd 5: *3 sc, M1* 6x. [30]
Rnd 6: 1 sc in each st. [30]
Rnd 7: *4 sc, M1* 6x. [36]
Rnd 8: 1 sc in each st. [36]
Rnd 9: *5 sc, M1* 6x. [42]
Rnd 10: 1 sc in each st. [42]
Rnd 11: *6 sc, M1* 6x. [48]
Rnd 12-16: 1 sc in each st (5 Rnds). [48]
Place the safety eyes between Rnds 9 and 10 with 6 sts between the eyes.

Rnd 17: *6 sc, sc2tog* 6x. [42]

Rnd 18: *5 sc, sc2tog* 6x. [36]
Rnd 19: *4 sc, sc2tog* 6x. [30]
Rnd 20: *3 sc, sc2tog* 6x. [24]

Add fiber fill to the strawberry and continue to fill as your work.

Cut the yarn and pull the end through the front loop of the last 6 sts, pull tight and weave in the
ends.

The Crown with green yarn

Rnd 1​: ​Work 10 dc in the magic ring. End with a sl st in the first dc. [10]
Rnd​ ​2: Crochet the leaves as follows *ch7, start in the 2​nd​ ch from the hook: 1 sl st, 1 sc, 1 hdc, 1
dc,1 tr, 1, tr, skip 1 dc from the magic ring and sl st * repeat a total of 4 times, so you have 5
leaves.
Cut the yarn and leave a long tail for attaching the leaves to the strawberry.

Embroider a mouth and eyebrows with black thread.

2 x Cheeks with pink yarn

Rnd 1​: ​6 sc in a magic ring. [6]
Cut the yarn and sew the cheeks to the sides of the mouth. Embroider the strawberry with small
yellow stripes.
