I. Objectives
At the end of a 60-minute period, learners must have:
a. reacted from the TV advertisement presented;
b. identified the structure of a Reaction Paper; and
c. written a reaction paper applying its proper structure.
What is your reaction after watching the TV commercial? What is the commercial about?
b. Focusing Content
The teacher will present the concept of a reaction paper and its purposes.
c. Discussion
The teacher will present the topic on the structure and purposes of a reaction paper.
d. Activity Proper
“A Thousand Words” Group Activity
1. Students will be given a picture about different situations/issues.
2. Each student will give their reactions about the image. Then, students will consolidate
all the answers of their group mates.
3. The students will write their reaction following the structure of a reaction paper.\
4. Students will present their output.
e. Processing Activity
The students will be asked the following questions:
1. How were you able to come up with your reaction paper?
2. What are your considerations in determining the purpose and identifying the parts of a
reaction paper?
IV. Evaluation
Paper-pencil Test
Based on the picture projected on the screen, write a simple reaction paper applying its proper
structure.
V. Assignment
Watch the “Think Before You Click” video Clip on Youtube.com. Then, write a Reaction Paper about the
said video.
