RESUMEN
RASMUSSEN C, JACOBSEN S-E, LAGNAOUI A. 2001. Las polillas de la quil/ua (Chenopodium
quinoa Willd.)

ences between E. quinoae and E. lIlelallOCtlmpta are not very conspicuous on the genitalia; rather, the
wing spots are used for identification. In our study, we have found that E. quinoae was the main pest
in all areas where we sampled quinoa fields and thatE. lIlelilllOCtllllpta was found mainly in volunteer
plants of quinoa after harvest.
