• Keep a reserve of food and water in the vehicle if traveling long
distances / in case service stations run low on supplies and make use of
contactless when paying for any goods to avoid contact with keypad
• Avoid using services for toilet breaks where possible, NB. services are
still to be used to take breaks to avoid driver fatigue with the driver
remaining in the vehicle
• If services must be used for toilet breaks, ensure that hands are washed
and then sanitised before re-entering the vehicle
• Always maintain social distancing when using the facilities at the service
station and make use of automatic doors where possible
• Open doors using higher up parts of the handle / door where possible to
avoid locations touched most often / where droplet could have collected
• Hand sanitiser has been provided to all employees carrying out works
