between a husband and wife is one of
mutual trust and cooperation. It is the
husband’s responsibility to avoid
threatening the wife and instead
treats her with love while fulfilling all
her responsibilities. A husband and
wife should both always pray to Allah
that they continue to be the coolness
of each other’s eyes and not the
reason for tears or sadness. There are
several examples and sayings in the
Quran and Hadith about this special
relationship.
