You are a member of a club of a leisure activity ( football/ sky diving=parachuting/ surfing /
swimming…..) . You are presenting your club:

Introduce the club

Give the main specificities and advantages

Try to convince people to join your club

State some example activities that you organized in the past.

2- COSTS

You work as a sales manager of a company that produces and sells a product
( fruits/coffee/footwear/ sport t-shirts / PPE …)

In a meeting you are explaining the cost of your product. (Maintenance/ profits/ employees’ wages/
raw materials /designer/farmers/machines/transportation….)

You are also introducing new ways of reducing costs in order to have more competitive prices and
have higher profit rate.

3- Meeting negotiations

You are a bank manager and you want to raise the bank’s profits. In a meeting to discuss the
monthly reports , you propose new regulations to cope with the Covid-19 crisis.

Try to give argumentative speech to convince the staff members of your view of the new policies that
should be taken.

4- Engineers

As an engineer working for a big oil and gas company, you are asked to supervise an offshore site.
However, some of the engineers and technicians refused to accompany you for many reasons (bad
weather/ fear/ being away from your family and friends/ hazards….).

In a meeting you try to convince your colleagues of the importance of your mission stating the
advantages of this experience.
