These scale exercises are an excellent way to improve your fluency in all different major and minor keys.
Instead of tackling an entire scale, these exercises seek to make you more comfortable with the first 5 notes of every
major and minor key. Once these are comfortable, the rest of the scale becomes much easier.
These exercises should be performed with a metronome - starting slowly enough to make sure that the fingerings are
correct and smooth, and then gradually increasing as your ability increases.
Start off slurred, and change up the articulation as needed.

Once comfortable with the middle octave, make sure to practice the same pattern both lower and higher.
The lower register presents challenges of both finger dexterity and embouchure flexibility.
