2 Determining the correct Performance Pack for the Customer Co

The Windows 10 Performance Pack is available for AC Omnicam units that have a PC version Pa
of 3.2.1 or newer. Versions prior to 3.2.1 will require replacement of the PC. There are three “D
Rev
methods of determining the version.
1- We have the Windows 10 Upgrade Advisor utility available at my.cerec.com and
dentsplysironasupport.com. The customer can download and run this utility. It will determine
whether a Performance Pack or Upgrade PC is required. The example below indicates the AC
has a V 3.2.1 PC and can be updated with a Performance Pack. The customer can request the
upgrade through their dealer support hotline.

2- Windows Computer Properties- Right-click on the Computer icon on the Windows 7 Desktop
(or on the Windows Start menu) and select Properties. The PC version will be shown.

3- PC Hardware Version sticker on the back of the Omnicam PC or the top of the CEREC AF / AI PC.

4 Performance Package Installation Instructions

Only trained and certified dealer service technicians should perform this work.
For questions, contact Dentsply Sirona CAD/CAM Support.

unique parts that are suited only for that version. The SSD drives are
imaged with the correct software and drivers to operate that PC, and
the RAM modules are matched to the existing RAM in the PC.
**DO NOT MIX THE PARTS FROM DIFFERENT KITS

5.4 Transferring Patient Files (if desired) Pa
After installing a Performance Package, you will have the original hard drive available. “D
Rev
Performance Packages include a SATA to USB adapter cable (pictured below) that can
be used to transfer files from the removed HDD. If using this method, make sure to
connect to a blue high speed USB port.

Turn on the PC and open Windows File Explorer. Transfer the folder D:\Data from the old
drive to the new SSD drive in the PC. If the doctor has other files that he wants to keep,
those can be transferred also.

The PC is ready for the installation of CEREC and/ or Connect SW 5.1 software. See the
CEREC / Connect Software installation manual for details.

Activate the Performance Pack license included in the kit and the customer’s
CEREC SW 5.1 license on the existing license drive.

Open the software and establish connection to the milling unit and Speedfire (if equipped)
and calibrate the camera.
