SEMESTER-7
Machine Tool Design
(030050701)
Credits: 4 (Theory) Contact hours per week: 4 (Theory)

Objective of the course:

To give the knowledge about the different concepts related to tool designs which are used
in all the manufacturing processes and different fundamental manufacturing operations.

Student learning outcomes/objectives:

At the closing stage of the course, the student will be provided a thorough understanding
and applications of the basics and working principles of different types of machine tools to
meet varied functional and operational requirements. Also they will be able for designing
machine components and machine tools.

Instructional methods and pedagogy:

Faculty members shall explain in a class room using black board and multimedia projector
through power point presentation.
