Thanksgiving and Christmas in American society

I. Introduction

Thesis statement: Thanksgiving is a gesture of friendship, in which the

pilgrims invited the neighboring Indians to celebrate a feast and shared the
turkey. While Christmas is a religious celebration, federal courts have

The celebration of both thanksgiving and Christmas takes place in the last two months
of the year, comparing the dates we can realize that they have similarities as the family
union, the moment of reflection during those days, the decoration in the Houses and

turkey accompanied by salads and nuts.

Meanwhile the differences are notorious, since in both dates they are celebrated one

celebrating, since in one there is a presidential speech while in the other exchange of
