Unique Access
We have unprecedented access to this extraordinary group via its newest member;
filmmaker, adventurer and tech expert Justin Hall. The series will follow the team into
Jungles and Deserts, across cityscapes and tribal territories. SHADOW FORCE and their
gadgets are on a mission to make a difference.
Refreshingly they don’t have all the answers, each project presents its own unique set of
challenges that they must first understand and then overcome. Together, they’ll be working
it out on the ground, Justin, Steve and Laurens (Two British Men and a Dutchman)
investigating and bringing to screen the surrounding issues. They’ll test the latest
technologies and look for unique ways to apply them across a diverse array of challenging
landscapes and projects. From defending the last Rhinos and Orang-utans to saving lives in
crisis this inspiring series shares in the drama as Shadow Force apply their skills.

Depending on the mission, the team select, test, and apply their cutting edge technologies: From Jungles to
Deserts, cityscape to tribal arenas, the shadow join forces with local teams to deploy their gadgets.

Simple Formula: At the beginning of each program there is set an objective, a challenge or problem that needs
a solution, select tech to apply, test, invite audience to contribute, adventurous travel into region, learn and
convey ‘on the ground’ reality, cultural immersion/collaboration with local Governments, NGOS & charities,
apply tech, calculate outcome win/lose, Pos/Neg.. Tangible impact as take away.

TAKING TO THE SKIES: Steve launches a drone on a mission to combat elephant poaching
in one of South Africa’s threatened reserves earlier this year.

Scanning the landscape from high above, with video feeds beamed directly to an Oculus
Rift head set, shadows eye-in-the-sky quickly locates an armed group of raiders.
Pinpointing there exact location, park rangers deploy, a battle ensues and ultimately the
ivory hunters are brought to justice.

Former crime investigator with a big passion for field operations. Loves
catching eco criminals.
Fair to say, Laurens in no stranger to adventures on camera. As one of
the team in ‘ WHALE WAR’S’ He got sunk in Antarctica and has spent
a long time exploring the wilds of Africa.

• Shadow have been invited to join an extraordinary expedition in to the remotest jungles of
Ecuador to survey from the sky the recently discovered THE LOST CITY OF GIANTS … an
ancient city complex with pyramidal structures, shrouded in myth and legend…. Namely that
it is the Biblical City of Nephilim

• Intriguingly: The population of Nephilim where said to have taught humans technology, many
saw them as gods because of their superhuman strength and technological skills!

TUSK FORCE
Empowering local Anti -Poaching Teams

Location: Malawi.
Status: Start August 11th 2014 (confirmed)
Focus: Elephant Conservation
• Elephant poaching on private reserve. Frequent arrests and interventions at
location. Working with local rangers, designing and implementing UAV surveillance
and coordinated interception methods, implementing new technologies in the field

DRONES FOR DUGONGS
South China Seas

Location: Philippines‘, Palawan Archipelago

Status: January/February2015 (confirmed)
Focus: Dugong Conservation
Aim: Conduct aerial surveys with drones, apply our technologies to assist in the
monitoring of this enigmatic, endangered marine species. The Palawan province, a palm
fringed paradise, forms an exotic backdrop to this exciting conservation endeavour. We
will equip our drones with a Multi Spectral camera, heat sensitive cameras and other
cutting edge technologies, dramatically enhancing local protection programs

RHINO RESCUE

OCEANS PLUNDER
Coastal Fisheries Defense

Location: UK/ Ireland, Mediterranean & Baltics

Focus:
• Fisheries patrol. With our drones aloft, we join coastal patrols as they police their waters.
Aim: Use aerial tech to assist in the monitoring of illegal fishing vessels. Gathering Intel to
action raids in defence of the ocean.

ISSUE AT HAND
Seal Conservation

Location: Namibia, Africa

Status: (TBC confirmed)
Focus:
• Seal slaughter. Largest slaughter of marine mammals on planet. Operation to fly UAV
from 10km and identify the seal clubbers (a group of 10+ who use clubs to beat the
animals to death on the beach). This, flagrant disregard for wildlife actually takes
place within designated Seal Reserve! Aim: Supply indisputable proof to local
enforcement, use our tech to bring those involved to account.

ON TARGET: RED CROSS
Location: Disaster Zones, Global
Status: (active)
Focus: Saving Lives through Rapid Response
We are actively discussing multiple operations to assist with UN
and global Red Cross relief efforts.

AIM: Use our tech to create a model for rapid response UAV
teams entering disaster zones. Offering faster comms, detailed
SITREP, search and emergency rescue assistance. As well as
monitoring refugees and displaced populations. (See next slide also)

• Pushing our skills and tech to the limits we look for ways to help in human crisis
Supported by the Bill Gate's foundation, our team rapidly deploy to disaster zones

A RACE AGAINST CRIME
Covert Ops

Location: The Duke of Norfolk's Estate,

Arundel, UK
Status: Confirmed Sept14 onwards
Focus: Gypsy Gambling Ring/Hare Coursing

Teaming up with the UK Police at Arundel. Shadow use

their tech to spy on an illegally Gypsy's betting hare
coursing. Police will introduce our UAV unit in support

As the journeys unfold, content of many types could be delivered from the field via satellite to all platforms
including 2 and 3 dimensional domains: The 2D platform is already built (see screens) The 3D arena is in an
advance state of development and perfectly positioned for Oculus Rift VR headsets. In explanation: Our 3d
Mission Control is a richly rendered virtual world supplying an immersive ‘see/explore/learn’ environment with
access to an astounding array of content offering the user the ability to navigate a virtual 3D space, as they
share, invite, contribute and collaborate in multiple ways.

INCREDIBLE CONTENT
Each day of the expedition, the team accumulates and captures a variety of dynamic multimedia content: aside of
live streaming high-definition video and stills; Giga Pan hyper-resolution imagery, immersive 360° Orb Panoramas
with sound and clickable hot spots, ‘Geo-Immersive’ Oculus ready video; ‘Eye-in-Sky’ 360° RC Drone & Octo-
copter feeds, dynamic 3D topographic maps place the action in context, these being supported by GIS, ERSI and
KMZ overlays of many types. By utilizing a selection of hi-tech tools – night vision, thermal, point cloud 3D
scanners, Biometrics, digital hi-speed, Arc lapse & Time shift, PVR CAM (multiple body worn), and more– we can
deliver ‘special feature’ content and enrich the story when applicable.
