Welcome to DEXview!

Introduction

DEXview enables you to not only view but also enhance and save images you receive from your colleagues who own
the DEXIS Digital X-ray System. Several features of DEXIS software are available so that you may gain more detailed
information from these images. We hope you will find DEXview a helpful evaluation tool.

Using DEXview

> Above the image, you will find the patient’s information, the tooth
number and date of the image, and the Doctor’s name. The number
of images and image format show on the right.

> To activate Tooltip, a help bubble that shows the icon’s function,
hover your cursor over the icons. When pressed an icon’s change to
the gold color indicates that function is active.

> To change brightness and contrast: “Click and drag” on

the image; up for lighter, down for darker, left for less
contrast and right for more. Alternatively, you may use
the arrow keys on the keyboard.

U ClearVu — Apply ClearVu image P Previous Arrow — Scroll to the

“ClearVu” enhancement to clarify and “Previous” previous image.

R Rotate — Rotate an image in N Next Arrow — Scroll to the next

“Rotate” 90-degree increments. “Next” image.

M Mirror — Mirror, or flip, the Q Quit — Quit DEXview.

“Mirror” selected image horizontally. “Quit”

B Back Home — Reset/toggle E Export — Export images for use in

“Back” original contrast settings of an “Export” others programs including digital
image. X-ray software.

T Notes — Turns annotations on and I Logo — Show program/contact

“Text” off. When on, click on each object “Info” info. Click “OK” to close or “Info”
to see annotated info. button to show image information.
