Series B – Barrels

Why the series change?

The RFID reader that is used in the sensor was obsoleted from the vendor.
The product was redesigned and qualified using a new RFID reader.

When are we shipping series B?

As of December 1st we started shipping series B and all part numbers
will be converted to series B by the end of December 2017. (0118)

Series B – Barrels

Series A Series B

Series B sensors do not have side lobes like series A sensors so you do not need
to worry about the minimum spacing requirements from the actuator to the sensor
as the actuator swipes across the front face of the sensor.

Replacement Actuators

Series A actuators will only work on Series A sensors and Series B

actuators will only work on Series B sensors.

There is no plan to discontinue Series A actuators.

New series B Actuator part numbers have been created.
