lengthy restrike periods normally
expected from other systems.

AIRFORT APRONS

Low level relieves glare and the

immense cost of all-night, large
area lighting by providing up to
a64% output reduction at empty
gates. High level reacts automati-

are present.

gives full illumination when trig-

Wide-Llte BL Series MPBM remote indoor ballasts are available for operation of
HPS, metal halide and mercury vapor lamps in sizes ranging from l0O0 watts to
250 watts. An integral electronic module performs the high/low switching function
with a zerolcrossover network to avoid lamp strobing or drop-out. The low range is
factory set to allow for any voltage drops and retain lamp stability. Conventional
ballast characteristics are retained when plannrng wiring sizes. BL series ballasts
are encapsulated to provide maximum heat transfer. These units provide Class H
(180'C) insulation rating and operate at least one full classification below this value
This type of ballast construction allows for use in 65"C ambients.
