Paper : V - TWENTIETH CENTURY LITERATURE : PROSE AND FICTION

1. Annonate any FOUR of the following :
(i) When Shakspeare made fun of Marston, and Thomson of Kyd, they were not ridiculing
the emotion or the oratory; Marston’s words were expressive of nothing.
(ii) He says that the self dramatisation of characters in plays gives rise to genuine rhetoric;
